One empire - countless cultures

We dreamt of  going to the moon; we did. We dreamt of going to Mars we did , in a way or we will. But who is to say that when we build colonies on other planets far away from our earth, that all of us will get equal shares or equal benefits from this huge leap?
How can one be sure that by the time we try to build a sustainable future for our people elsewhere our home won't be inhabitable?
If we work together, won't this be faster?
We are far from even thinking about a day when there will be no discrimination based on the criteria of nationality, class, caste , religion, creed, race and what not! But if we are able to envision even a sliver of this huge iceberg, visualize a tiny portion of this prodigious monument we seek to build, we will learn to put away our differences and begin the great unification of mankind by coming together on the most trivial matters....it does not mean straying from the belief that each one is entitled to his own opinion but keeping in mind the utilitarian aspect as well without erasing the consequentialist facade of the same....it won't be easy but its worth the effort, isn't it? Aren't we?
We need the  integrity  of the Indians, resourcefulness of the Americans, practicality of the Russians , the creativity of the Japanese and willingness to contribute from all the countries, all the diverse kingdoms in fact to create an unfaltering global empire we  proudly call the Earth!
